Why Dance at NExt Stage

Early Childhood

  • Mommy & Me

    (Ages 1.5–4)

    A joyful and engaging class for little ones and their grown-ups! With music, rhythm, and creative movement, children explore early motor skills while bonding with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver. No experience needed — just bring your energy and enjoy the fun together. Drop-in welcome. No advanced registration required.

  • Creative Movement

    (Ages 2.5–4)

    This 45-minute class introduces toddlers to the magical world of dance and tumbling. Basic movement and musicality are explored through age-appropriate songs and playful exercises designed to build confidence, coordination, and imagination.

  • Ballet, Tap & Tumble

    (Ages 3–6)

    A magical introduction to ballet, tap, and tumbling. This 60-minute class blends creativity with foundational skills and is perfect for beginners or returning dancers.

  • Dance Combo

    (Ages 6+)

    Ideal for students ready to explore multiple styles in one class. This combo includes beginner-level ballet, jazz, and hip hop to keep things fresh, fun, and accessible.

Technique Classes

  • Beginning Level

    (Ages 6+)

    Perfect for students with 0–2 years of experience. Classes introduce core technique in a structured and encouraging way.

  • Intermediate Level

    (Ages 10+)

    For dancers with a strong foundation ready to tackle more complex combinations and refine their form.

    These classes focus on building foundational skills in a specific style of dance. Placement is based on experience, not just age.

  • Advanced Level

    (Ages 13+)

    These classes challenge experienced dancers to elevate their technique, musicality, and performance quality.

Adult Classes

  • Beginner Level

    No Experience Needed

    Designed for adults who are brand new to dance. With a welcoming atmosphere and supportive instruction, you’ll learn foundational steps, build coordination, and explore movement at a comfortable pace. No previous experience required — just bring your curiosity and willingness to try something new!

  • Open Level

    Accessible to all

    This level is perfect for adults with prior dance experience who are looking to build on their technique, improve strength and flexibility, and continue their dance journey. Classes include more complex choreography and a faster pace, but still maintain a supportive and encouraging environment.

Technique Styles

  • Structured 60–90 minute classes that begin at the barre and move to center work. Focuses on strength, posture, flexibility, and traditional ballet vocabulary.

  • Intro to Pointe is a preparatory class focused on strength and technique. Pointe is by teacher invitation only, for students who’ve completed Intro and are enrolled in at least 2 ballet technique classes weekly.

  • A dynamic blend of style, rhythm, and expression. Jazz builds strength, flexibility, and performance skills through upbeat choreography and foundational drills.

  • Focuses on breath, movement, and momentum using techniques like fall/recovery and floor work. Encourages creativity and improvisation.

  • Rhythm, timing, and musicality take center stage in this high-energy class. Students explore both rhythm and Broadway tap styles.

  • A fun, high-energy class featuring foundational and modern street styles. Great for developing coordination, musicality, and confidence.

  • Blending dance and gymnastics, acro develops strength, balance, and flexibility. Students learn rolls, bridges, handstands, cartwheels, and more — always with a focus on safety and proper form.

  • Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers, this class improves height, control, and technique through progressive drills and across-the-floor combinations.

  • Expressive movement meets emotional storytelling. Dancers combine ballet and jazz technique while also learning to create their own original choreography.

  • This energetic class blends acting with movement using choreography from Broadway musicals. A fun way for students to explore character, expression, and showmanship.
