STUDIO POLICIES
ATTENDANCE:
● NSDDA requires all students to be responsible in their training by instituting a strict attendance policy. Students should attend class regularly. When a conflict arises, students must inform the front desk as soon as possible by calling 609-678-7704.
● Students can make-up a missed class by attending another class on the schedule. Students can only do so if the front desk was notified prior to an absence. Make-up classes must be scheduled by the student with at least 48 hours notice and require approval by the director. Students are not permitted to drop-in without notification or approval.
DRESS CODE:
Ballet:
Theatrical pink tights, black leotard, theatrical pink ballet slippers; Hair: Bun
N.B. Black ballet skirts and leg warmers are permited.
Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop:
Tights and/or full length dance pants, leotard, sports bras are not permitted; Hair: Ponytail
N.B. Capri dance pants and/or gauchos can be worn but tights MUST be worn underneath
Drama:
Loose fitting clothes that allow a wide range of movement.
JEANS ARE NOT PERMITTED!
Boys:
BALLET: Black cotton and/or lyrca pants, white T-Shirt, black ballet shoes
OTHER: Clothes that allow a wide range of movement. JEANS AND SHORTS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
SHOES:
Dancers must have dance shoes for every class, with the exception of modern. Street sneakers are not permitted in the studio. Hip Hop dancers may wear dance sneakers ONLY.
CANCELLATIONS:
In the event of an emergency cancellation, an email will be sent to the email address listed on the registration.
