In association with the Project Dance program, we will be offering two Summer Intensives; July 13-16 and August 18-21 from 1:00-5:00. Classes will be offered in modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre dance and yoga. Instructors will include professional dancers, choreographers and instructors from Philadelphia and New York. In association with Paul VI High School, the Next Stage will be offering a summer THEATRE CAMP from July 6-31 for students in grades 7-9. The camp will offer two tracks: musical theatre and drama. Classes in musical theatre dance, voice and acting will be offered. Email mscrenci@pvihs.org to register.
Former Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader, Courtney Daniels, along with her sister, Melissa, reputable and highly experienced vocal instructor, bring over 30 years of experience in the arts to Barrington. The Next Stage hosts classes in all types of dance, drama, voice, musical theatre, in addition to combining with Outcast Theatre Company to provide future artists aged 2 1/2 to adult with comprehensive performing arts training by professionals and accreidated educators. This sister act has pulled together a staff of professional instructors from Philadelphia's Philadanco, Koresh and the University of the Arts, in addition to a former Miss New Jersey, a Spirit of the Dance cast member and various workshops with Broadway performers. The Next Stage Dance & Drama Academy hosts a wide variety of classes, for ages 3 to adult, in classical ballet, jazz, modern, musical theatre dance, drama, cheer technique, dance aerobics for adults, hip hop and break dance; in addition to, performance opportunities far beyond the scope of the average studio recital.
